Hori pad v4 not recognized dbfz isn t recognizing my fight stick even though tekken has no problem recongizing it and utilizing it. It s basicaly just personal preference really. May 6 2018 8 07am. I think he meant d pad vs analog stick on the controller not fightstick.

Finally map the stick to the d pad if you re using a stick and you should be good to go. A stick is not easier and has a learning curve to it. If we were talking about about mvci kof14 or gg xrd then a stick is highly recommended but for games like injustice 2 dbfz or sfv using a controller might actually prove to be advantageous seeing. Between the two op i feel like the d pad will give you more precision.

This game was designed for pad aka d pad on controller but u can still use stick as it will work the same it is mainly preference like i only can play and prefer fightstick for tekken any other fighting game i can use either pad or stick but controller should be fine and besides fightsticks cost atleast 150 and above for a really good one.
